On October 29th, 2014, as part of the APEC, Bingnan Wang Assistant Minister of Ministry of Commerce, People's Republic of China welcomed Peter Kruyt, Chairman of the Board of Canada China Business Council and Ms. Wayne, Governor of Ontario, Canada and Canada Business Delegation to visit China. Dr. Dong Wang, Chairman of Beijing Aikang Group was also invited to attend this highest-level business meeting.

  Dr. Dong Wang explained to Assistant Minister Bingnan Wang and Governor Wayne the operation philosophy of Beijing Aikang Group, namely "life equality", and the great achievements made in medical sector over the years, and received the recognition from Assistant Minister Bingnan Wang and Governor Wayne who expressed her hope that Beijing Aikang Group could bring its advanced management experience to Canada and start overall cooperation with Canadian medical sector.

  Later on 2014 Ontario-Beijing Innovation Forum, Dr. Dong Wang represented Aikang Venture Capital Investment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Beijing Aikang Group to sign a cooperation agreement with Canada, by which Beijing Aikang Group successfully stepped into the international medical market.

  Founded in 1993, Beijing Aikang Group has been engaged into medical industry investment and medical operation management for years and owns two general hospitals, one medical device company, one pharmaceutical company, one investment company, two investment funds and a large amount of property. In May, 2013, an agreement was entered into by and between Aikang and Tongji Hospital to jointly establish Tongji Aikang Hospital Management Co., Ltd. Aikang is devoted to build an industrial leading medical brand to benefit the society and the public under the guide of its philosophy "Life Equality and Mutual Help" and the mission of "to create a medical environment for all life with our love". Therefore, Beijing Aikang Group starts a new model of cooperation between public and private hospitals.

  This cooperation with Canada further helps Aikang open a door to the international market and to international advanced technologies, and provide a change for Aikang to develop in high-end medical technology field.
